A downloadable game for Windows and Linux

Made for Ludum Dare 54 were the theme was "Limited Space". 

For this I made a survival shooter, where you trade off upgrades for a lack of space to make your play area feel smaller and more overwhelming. For example, your character can get an HP bonus but their size is doubled! Or your movement speed is increased, but your play area magically shrinks!

Gameplay is inspired by Vampire Survivors where you get a collection of upgrades to choose from. Except instead of leveling up you need to complete the current round to obtain an upgrade.

See how many points you can get! Every round, the score multiplier increases by 50%.

Controls:

WASD - Move around

Mouse Left - Shoot and interact with menus

Install instructions

Windows:

Unzip Crammed Survivors.zip and run the game to play!

Ubuntu (Linux):

-Libfuse2 is required to run GameMaker games on Ubuntu:

     apt-get install libfuse2

-Set the games app image as an executable:

     chmod +x ./Crammed Survivors.AppImage

-Run the game:

     ./Crammed Survivors.AppImage
