Squares

This game is a roguelike with tower defense aspects. The goal of the game is to collect materials to build up your squares (your defenses) along with collecting permanent power ups to strengthen your arsenal. Get stronger wood to build more durable squares, and get stronger metal to build more durable turrets.

This is a simple game I made years ago  with not end goal.

Controls:

WASD - Move

Left Mouse Button - Shoot/Build

Right Mouse Button - Build/Upgrade

Enter - Pause (Also to look at materials)

Tab - Speed up game time. (WARNING - Difficulty will drastically increase)

How to Play:

Collect materials to build up your squares, The number of squares you can build depends on your level, shown by your backpack. In addition, the materials you can collect depends on your level. For example, birch trees are level 3 so you must be level 3 to break them.

Kill enemies the same level or higher than yourself to gain EXP. 

After killing enemies, you can purchase chests to obtain power ups. Challenge shrines can also be done, where you kill enemies for a power up.
